Acts 3:19 "So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord..."
Today I need refreshing. I recently had breakthrough in an area that had burdened me for a long time. In fact, it caused me much physical pain and trouble. Since the breakthrough, God has been saying, "Rest, relax, refresh and restore".
Have you ever been injured? You know that afterwards you need some recovery time. How much more do we need recovery time after walking in bondage for years, and then being delivered!!
So I'm seeking to rest today. It's as if I have a new lease on life. I appreciate a husband who loves me enough to sacrifice his time and effort so that I can have an easier life.
Today's thoughts are candid, but I needed to share them. Hope everyone that reads this will not be afraid to take some time out to refresh and restore.
